Drangar Restaurant opened during the Summer of 2018 along with the Hotel.
Putting emphasis on the constantly changing conditions while living here in Iceland, where nothing much grows outside, but the waves, we pride ourselves on carefully selecting only the highest quality seasonal ingredients.

Soup of the day, bread, whipped butter
Salad from Vaxa, pickled white onion, baked tomatoes, smoked almonds, cashew cream, red currant and vinaigrette
Caramelized onion tart with cream cheese and gratinated Feykir
Cured Char with apples, dill, mustard sauce, horseradish and mustard salad
Cured mutton with marinated blueberries, brioche bread, thyme, skyr and rocket

Grilled lamb sirloin with, béchamel, sweetened potato purée, red cabbage and lamb glace infused with double smoked leg of lamb
Grilled beef rib eye with potato terrine, confit shallots,
fried spinach and madeira sauce
Parsnip and white chocolate with ginger bread, blood orange and mint
Plums in madeira with anis seeds, almond crumble, and vanilla ice cream
